Stroll through the shops of Bad Bevensen's old town, go on excursions together, explore the town on a guided tour ... cosy shopping in Bad Bevensen.

From the spa park you can stroll leisurely into the city centre. At its southern end, the spa park is flanked by the magnificent Neptune Fountain - it is the starting point for bicycle tours, city tours and other activities. From here the path leads into the small town centre via a pedestrian zone and the Göhrde Bridge. Here, too, visitors will find shops and cafés in the pedestrian zone.

A very special building is the Ratsapotheke. It is perhaps the most beautiful house in Bad Bevensen and was built by a doctor in 1798 and became the town's first pharmacy in 1817.

The church square in the middle of the town centre is often the centre and meeting place for parties, sitting and chatting. The weekly market also takes place here, where you can get freshly harvested fruit and vegetables from the region or wonderful perennials for the balcony or garden at home. The water feature on the church square is a popular spot, also for children who like to run through the fountains on hot days.

Many festivals and parades take place in the pedestrian zone and on the church square, such as the traditional annual Schützenfest, the town festival, the Heidekartoffel pageant with the crowning of the Heidekartoffel Queen and much more.
